I don’t care a bit for ‘self-insert’ bullshit, I wanna read a story that’s visually appealing. I would play more otome games if so many of them didn’t look so bad or didn’t have rag doll MCs. They almost always seem to be the biggest asses in the story too.Īnother problem I have is that a lot of them have such shitty MCs… Kyaa he looked my way! Sobsob why is he saying such mean things? Dokidoki I think I rabu him even though he treats me like dirt! He has to be suffering from some sad past or something! Oh don’t worry, they will have a sad past! I know that a lot of eroge fall to that formula too, but there are so much more of them that I can eventually find SOMETHING that interests me and isn’t completely bad. It’s hard for me to find a PC otome game where I don’t frown immediately after seeing pics. Bad end seems like a nice alternative then getting rabu rabu with them! And yet, there’s SO MANY OF THEM EVERYWHERE. Art that makes me want to run away and be as mean as possible to the available choices. It’s LIEBENDER, go check it out if you dig it or something. Maybe I”m being prejudiced because I don’t like the big ‘bishounen’ or long as hell hair look. I can count the ones I’ve honestly enjoyed more than an eroge on my hand and they’re all from 2 companies. I wouldn’t be so butthurt if the available PC otome games didn’t suck so bad. Couldn’t they have waited till their next game (though I’ll probably eat my words if their next game is better) to go PSP only? I’ve been playing Danzai no Maria and I so still mad that ZMG is PSP only. So again, why is PSP-only becoming so popular? I don’t really understand it. Is a PC release so hard to ask for? _ I don’t have any use for getting a PSP other than VNs and I’m not willing to shell out that much money for a PSP especially after I just bought a crapload of other stuff. There’s so many games I want to play, but I’m constantly getting barred back by it being console only. Yet, they want to stick all that gorgeous into a puny screen? Um, no thanks. Especially when the title has gorgeous art. I understand that there’s sort of a pressure to have some kind of H content in PC and being lol console only makes it easier to avoid that, but it still irks me. Is PC really that bad now? I would assume that since you can have widescreen and a bigger audience PC would be the way to go, but why is there so many console only games? Not all of the demographic have access to a console (especially PSP, what the hell?) and I certainly wouldn’t buy one just for a VN. I was really looking forward to both when I found out about them, then BAM PSP ONLY HAHA! Yeah, haha, funny game devs. Console only is making me want to rip and tear. First Zettai Meikyuu Grimm and now Shinigami to Shoujo.
